Letter from Forster Fitzgerald Arbuthnot to T.W. Rhys Davids in which he writes that due to poor health he must give up the management of the Oriental Translation Fund. He hopes the Council of the Society will take it over as a going concern. If the Council agrees to this he will present to them all his own volumes. He then details the progress of several publications.

Rhys Davids, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to ask him to lay before the Council the document enclosed concerning the abandoning of the revising of the Oriental Translation Fund via donation and subscription. He states his proposal for the Fund and attaches the Memorandum to be presented to the Council.
