Fitzgerald writes that he does not know if he is at liberty to thank the article's author as his poem Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám, had been published anonymously. Letter from Edward Fitzgerald to Bernard Quaritch in which he asks that Quaritch will get someone else to do the proofreading as he finds it difficult to do. He then complains regarding a comment that Quaritch had forwarded made by Mr Schultz Wilson's who had commented on the commercial statistics of his poem, Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám. He has also been upset by a personal notice published in America and hopes that nothing similar would be published in England. Handwritten, 3 sides, dated 4 February 1876.
