Letter from Edwin Norris, Secretary, to John H. Hickcox, Secretary, New York State Library, concerning an agreement for an exchange of publications. Though the New York State Library had agreed to send 18 volumes of the 'Natural History of New York', they have not been received. The letter recommends that they should be sent to a Mr Stevens, at Morley's Hotel, Trafalgar Square. (Found on page 231)

The Society was pleased to hear of the completion of his translation of the whole of the Mahabharata and regrets that few people in England can appreciate his work in Bengali. (Found on page 272)
