Storey does not know who could undertake the cataloguing of the 11000 books belonging to Ellis but suggests it is desirable to consult Nicholson. He writes of hearing of 6000 in the library of a British Arabist had been acquired by a library at Philadelphia but realising this was not the Ellis volumes.
