Letter from W.R. Livingstone, Montego Bay, Jamaica, to send a contribution to the Fund. Livingstone mentions that he has seen where Burton lived at Trieste, and served as missionary in the Bombay Diocese which Burton had visited. "Imagination has taken me to Mecca, whither pluck and skill carried him 32 years ago." He signs his letter "Hadgi W.R. Livingstone". He also includes a printed satirical poem "Farewell to Sir Leslie Probyn" about an unpopular British Governor of Jamaica at the time.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to enclose a cheque for the half year salary and disbursements which he asks Storey to sign. He informs that his Brokers have purchased some Guardian Investment Trust Debenture Stock. He also writes that Nicholson seems very frail and therefore asks Storey to sign a cheque for £1000 so Raynes will not have to trouble Nicholson for each separate purchase.
