Eleven letters to accompany donations to the Royal Asiatic Society.

"The Singhalese Book is called Pansiyapanas Jatakaya" Explanation accompanying a donation of the book. The letter gives a comprehensive account of the book and its production and is signed as by written Benjamin Clough (1791-1853), Wesleyan Missionary in Sri Lanka, and dated 25 March, 1824. A further label reads "Sir A Johnston, Jan 7 1826".

Letter from Major-General Samuel Williams Ogg to Dr George Henry Noehden, Secretary of the RAS, presenting a "specimen of a new mineral found in the Mysore Country near Belloor".
