In 1919 the Society for Biblical Archaeology was absorbed into the Royal Asiatic Society. This series of correspondence and allied papers concerns the amalgamation. These are:
- 'Memo' concerning the possible amalgamation of the two Societies, by James Kennedy, Treasurer, Royal Asiatic Society, dated 7 December 1917.
- 'Memorandum' concerning a private conference between certain members of the two Societies, held 7 December 1917.
- Record of the Resolution passed by the Joint Committee of the Royal Asiatic Society and the Society for Biblical Archaeology held 13 April 1918.
- Agreed Minutes for the Joint Committee Meeting of the Royal Asiatic Society and the Society for Biblical Archaeology held 13 April 1918.

- 'Memorandum of Special General Meeting 8 October 1918' when the provisional agreement was brought before the Society. Draft agreement between the two societies, undated.
