A leaf from a notebook systematically comparing the West's account of the Kanheri Caves to that of Abraham Hyacinthe Anquetil du Perron dating from 1760. The comparison appears to be related to the numbering of the caves, as well as to some inscriptions.

The notebook continues a descriptive account of Caves No. 1 to No. 20. Throughout, the margins are annotated, including the positioning of Plates, editorial notes, fact verification, as well as some links to earlier Western accounts of the site.
