Letter from Alexa Barrow to W.E.D. Allen to write that she has packed up the books in the hope that John Maggs will take them to London with him. She will also send the photographs and pencilled note about the Marco Polo manuscript. She sends a list of the books that she has found (list with the letter). Dated: 9 January 1971.

Letter from Alexa Barrow to W.E.D. Allen in which she thanks Allen for his letter and telegram. Skelton's library is to be valued and disposed of by Magg's Booksellers, she therefore asks about a note she has found of her father's which promises books to Allen. She suggests that Maggs takes these books to London with him for Allen to collect. Dated: 17 December 1970.
