Letter from H. Higgens to Edwards to thank him for the letters he has sent and to hope that Allen is now mobile again. He will keep the second half of September free in case Allen would like him to visit. Higgens also asks for Sam Allen's address. He also writes concerning some of the things that he has been reading. Dated: 17 July 1973.

Letter from H. Higgens to Edwards to inform him that Whitney, Moore & Keller had paid him what he asked for and that they advised not doing any more work for Allen. He will continue but will not expect to get paid for it. Dated: 23 October 1973.

Letter from H. Higgens to W.E.D. Allen in which Higgens writes that he has few suggestions on Zvemigorowski and Tatishchev. He praises Allen's 'marvellous library' and asks if he is interested in buying a facsimile of the 'Apocalypse' owned by Trinity College, Cambridge. He thanks Allen for his hospitality and for taking him to Cashel to see Sheila-Na-Gig and the diocese library, where he enjoyed viewing their edition of Napier.
