This is a series of correspondence between W.E.D. Allen and Humphrey Higgens mainly concerning working on material for use in Allen's work on Russian Embassies.

Notes from H. Higgens to W.E.D. Allen concerning items they had been discussing. He also writes about a forthcoming visit and thanks for an enjoyable dinner party. Dated: 25 November 1969.

Letter from H. Higgens to W.E.D. Allen to ask if he could visit in November. Higgens encloses some letters to the Time Literary Supplement (these are with the letter) and writes that he was sorry to hear of the death of Holroyd-Smith. Dated: 6 October 1969.
