This is a series of correspondence mainly between W.E.D. Allen and Raleigh Ashlin Skelton (known as Peter to his friends, and in these letters). There is some correspondence with Skelton's daughter after Skelton was killed in a car accident.

He writes concerning the progress of the Russian Embassies and the material that Allen requires, and approves of Allen's hint that Bishop Veniaminov's papers may be published by the Society.
