Allen to enclose a letter from a young man at Birmingham University Library who is wondering about the possibility of producing a bibliography of Russian material (copy of letter is with Skelton's). Skelton wonders whether he may be of use to Allen. He comments again on Allen's introduction and on the division of the material into two volumes. Dated: 1 October 1964.

Letter from Peter Skelton to W.E.D. Allen responding to Allen's previous letters concerning the Embassies publication and the obtaining of the microfilm of Robert Boyle's book. With the letter are various typed and handwritten lists. He also reminds Allen that he is now retired and therefore operating from home. Dated: 19 April 1967.

He also writes that the Hakluyt Society have received a proposal from Richard Hill for a translation of the African travels of Evliya Celebi, and how that might conflict with Allen's own plans for such a publication.
