He also writes concerning references he has found and that, as he will soon be in Turkey, he cannot take up Allen's invitation to Ireland. However he hopes to see him in London in July to discuss the Evliya project. Dated 16 May 1958.

Letter from Victor Louis Ménage to W.E.D. Allen with which Ménage sends Allen a copy of the Serbo-Croat Celebi text which Allen had previously requested (copy of this not included in folder). Ménage also writes of his frustrations in trying to obtain photographs from the Turkish authorities though he is trying to give them a boost and priase their efforts at restoration.
