Correspondence with Aurel Stein concerning the conferment of the Medal.

Letter from Aurel Stein to Colonel Hoysted, Secretary of Royal Asiatic Society, to thank him for sending out the invitations that he had requested and also for some spare cards for other friends. He writes that Sir Edward Maclagan has informed him as to the procedure to be observed on the occasion. Typed, dated 13 June 1932.

Letter from Aurel Stein to Colonel Hoysted to write that he received both Hoysted's letter and telegram and replied by telegram which he hopes has already reached the Society. Stein asks if some friends may be invited to the presentation and sends a list of them with the letter. Handwritten dated 2 June 1932.
