Letter from V. Minorsky to W.E.D. Allen in which he writes of neglecting to thank Allen for the book on al-Ghazal. He has not had a moment free to read Allen's essay carefully. He is sending the material requested by Allen. In a postscript he writes of a letter he has received from Peru, electing him an Honorary member of the Oriental Insitiute. Dated: 1 March 1961.

Letter from V. Minorsky to W.E.D. Allen in which he writes that the "Zap. vol. V" has been posted to Allen's London address. He writes in changes in the staff due to Lockhart's road accident and of his own poor health. Dated: 1 November 1961.

Letter from V. Minorsky to W.E.D. Allen in which he writes that he is glad to have better news from Allen and also glad that the volume he sent has reached Allen. Minorsky asks how the Hakluyt volume is progressing. He is poring over articles to be made into a volume. Dated 10 July 1962.

Letter from V. Minorsky to W.E.D. Allen in which Minorsky writes of his and his wife's health problems and about their attendance at the "Islamic Colloquium". He writes also of his recent and forthcoming publications. Dated: 11 April 1958.

Letter from V. Minorsky to W.E.D. Allen in which he apologises for not writing but thought Allen was busy with his Centenary and Minorsky's continues with bad eyesight. He writes that his catalogue of Sir Chester Beatty's Turkish manuscripts is published and being promoted. He asks to be reminded which manuscripts Allen was wanting to borrow. Dated: 11 September 1958.

Letter from V. Minorsky to W.E.D. Allen in which he acknowledges Allen's letter and the sent pamphlet. He makes some criticisms of the pamphlet. Dated: 12 May 1963.

Letter from V. Minorsky to W.E.D. Allen in which Minorsky writes that it was a great pleasure to see Allen in Cambridge and informs Allen that he does not have the books on Caucasia that Allen had requested. He is overwhelmed by the number of periodicals that he owns but hopes that now his books are published he may have time to work through them. Dated: 12 November 1959.

Letter from V. Minorsky to W.E.D. Allen in which he thanks Allen for returning his book and with such beautiful binding. He is sorry that Allen did not come to Cambridge when he was in England. He writes of the commemoration of the centenary of E.G. Browne's birth at Pembroke College and of his happiness at receiving the Royal Asiatic Society Medal. Dated: 12 November 1962.
