Letter from V.R. Krishna Yachendra, Rajah of Venkatigiri, to Mr H.A. Sim, Madras Civil Service, in which he thanks Mr Sim and Mr Wollaston, Secretary of the Royal Asiatic Society, for their acknowledgment of his donation. He understands that it will not be used for the original purpose for which he sent it but is glad of the nature and beneficial purpose to which it will be put.
