Copy of a letter from E.H.Johnston (Edward Hamilton Johnston) to John Allan, concerning a Chinese correspondent in Paris, Lin Li-Kouang, who has found a number of references in the Chinese translations which explain satisfactorily Quaritch Wales's Kedah inscription, some of which occur in texts of the Madhyamika school.
