The first is a covering letter to Rhys Davids to suggest the name of a possible translator and to remind Rhys Davids about a poem described in the Catalogue that Bühler has been promised. The second letter, in response to a printed letter sets out details of work that might be translated under the patronage of the Royal Asiatic Society.
