Sans titreThe Gibb Memorial Trust was established in 1902 in memory of Elias John Wilkinson Gibb, a largely self-taught Arabic, Persian, and, above all, of Ottoman Turkish, died age 45 in 1901 and his mother established the Trust. These papers mainly cover the period 1927-1951 and consists of governance, finance and publication documents, produced mainly as a result of Charles Ambrose Storey's involvement as a Trustee of the Trust.

Newman, Director, W. Heffer & Sons Ltd. to W.L. & E.G. Raynes to apologise for the delay in replying to Raynes' letter but they are unable to source binding board and therefore will not be able to undertake the work.

They also write that they are in contact with Mr Raynes concerning obtaining the necessary sheets from the University Press. When these are obtained they will be able to ascertain the exact thickness of the spine and then be able to continue to the cutting of the spine brasses.
Sans titreLetter from W. Heffer & Sons Ltd. to C.A. Storey to state they have received the sheets of Persian script for "Tadhkirat al-Mulūk". They have mislaid Storey's instructions regarding the lettering on the book and asks for them to be resent. They include a rough rubbing of the lettering from a pattern volume provided by Minorsky which gives the position. They also wish to know whether the publication date should read 1942 or 1943. The rubbing is with the letter.
