"A cursory Notice of Nayakote By B.H. Hodgson, Esq. Resident at the Court of Nepal". Two copies of an unbound offprint from Journal of Asiatic Society of Bengal, 1841, concerning the Valley of Náyakόt and the Awalia people who live there. Few annotations by Hodgson, 12 pages, uncut, dated 1841.

"Aborigines of the Nílgiris by B H Hodgson B.C.S". Draft paper with corrections, annotations and insertions concerning the language and people of the Nílgiris. Note at the head of paper reads "Sent to As. Soc. Oct 30/56" and the Paper is dated Darjeeling, Sept 28 1856. Handwritten, 13 pieces, dated 28 September 1856.

"Architectural illustrations of Buddhism." Paper by Hodgson which begins "During the time when I was engaged in discovering, procuring & testing the general character of the literary monuments of Buddhism in Nepal, I was likewise employed in accumulating architectural and sculptural illustrations of the same creed..." He proceeds to list the drawings that he is about to present to the Institute of France and continues to write about the "general character of the sacred edifices of Buddhism in Nepal. There are two copies of this paper - a first rough draft in Hodgson's hand and a fair copy by S H entitled, "Architecture of Buddhism to French Institute Sept 1857 N.B. Annie took it home Nov 10/57. Delivered to the Institute 16th January 1858. through the British Embassy at Paris by favour of Lords Cranworth & Clarendon. To Müller July 22 the fair copy & drawings. The paper "On the Kirânti tribe of the central Himalaya by B.H. Hodgson also with this document in which Hodgson sets out to explain the Kirânti language. Handwritten, 13 pieces, Nov 1857.
