There are two copies of this paper - a first rough draft in Hodgson's hand and a fair copy by S H entitled, "Architecture of Buddhism to French Institute Sept 1857 N.B. Annie took it home Nov 10/57. Delivered to the Institute 16th January 1858. through the British Embassy at Paris by favour of Lords Cranworth & Clarendon. To Müller July 22 the fair copy & drawings.
