May writes of his letter (enclosed - DD/4/7) to Fairbank and asks whether Duncanson has any comments to make. Further, May advises Duncanson to cultivate a good relationship with Barbara Ward at Harvard who is an influential figure at the university, in order to review his book. (Handwritten)
