Sans titreCorrespondence between Abraham Poliak and the Secretary of the Royal Asiatic Society, Diana Crawford, concerning the proposed reprint of Poliak's publication, Feudalism in Egypt, Syria, Palestine and the Lebanon 1250-1900 which had been published through the Society's Prize Publication Fund. There is also a small amount of correspondence from a Library in Lebanon who are requesting further copies of the original publication.

Storey to inform Storey that he has received 25 bound copies of Mathnawi IV.7 and 12 bound copies of Kitab Al-Badi N.S.X. from Cox & Allen. He also sends Luzac's Sales Account to December 1941. He writes that Dow & Lester have despatched the brasses but they have not yet been received. With this letter is a copy of the Luzac Sales Account.

The file contains both agreements and correspondence between the two parties as well as internal communication within the Royal Asiatic Society and administrative documents concerning preparation for a launch party for the catalogue. The correspondents include Valery Gibson and Gordon Calver for the Royal Asiatic Society and J.I. Somers for Fine Books Oriental. During this period Fine Books Oriental came under the Luzac's umbrella but continued to act independently.

Sans titreThe Gibb Memorial Trust was established in 1902 in memory of Elias John Wilkinson Gibb, a largely self-taught Arabic, Persian, and, above all, of Ottoman Turkish, died age 45 in 1901 and his mother established the Trust. These papers mainly cover the period 1927-1951 and consists of governance, finance and publication documents, produced mainly as a result of Charles Ambrose Storey's involvement as a Trustee of the Trust.
