These papers consist of a memoir of William Augustus Collins, as well as a number of his publications, research papers and reports relating to his work in Southeast Asia. The majority of the material relates to Cambodia, where Collins was involved in various social, educational and legal support programmes and projects. A small part of the digital material concerns a project aiming at improving access to justice in East Timor.

The 1996 January-February (volume II, number 1) issue of 'Cambodia Report', a publication by the Preah Sihanouk Raj Academy, for which Collins worked as Senior Researcher from 1995 to 1997. This issue contains extracts from several fields reports by the research teams at the Academy, written as part of the Interdisciplinary Research on Ethnic Groups in Cambodia (IREGC) project. Collins was the Research Coordinator of the IREGC project and co-editor for this issue, which features his article entitled 'Relations between the Cham and the Cambodian Highlanders'.
