Letter from Sir Harold Bailey, President of the Royal Asiatic Society, to Professor G.H. Luce to inform him that the Society wished to award the Triennial Gold Medal to Professor Luce and to inform him that is was customary for the recipient to deliver a lecture upon its Presentation. Typed, dated 17 June 1965.

In 1993 the first Denis Sinor Medal was awarded to Professor Sir Harold Bailey. The award was presented to him in Cambridge on 19 May 1993 by the President of the Society. The archival material contains correspondence and administrative documents concerning the award.

• Letter from Lydia Collins, RAS Secretary, to Sir Harold Bailey to inform him that the Society's committee for the award of the Denis Sinor Medal had recommended him for the award of the Medal in 1993.
