This is a set of Indian Religious Songs collected, transcribed and translated into English by Ram Gharib Chaube, probably for the use of William Crooke.

The Material in this Series was contained within a folder headed:" 4. Songs – (chiefly) religious" and fronted with title: "Religious Songs from Northern India By William Crooke (late ICS) no. LVII". All are handwritten copies.

"Religious Songs in Romanized Hindi collected by Rām Gharib Chaube apparently for William Crooke I.C.S." This series consists of 20 songs in Romanized Hindi with their translations. All are handwritten copies.

A further set of songs which were not within any discrete folder. These are all handwritten copies.
