Zonder titelLetter from R.A. Nicholson to C.A. Storey to ask him to forward the enclosed order form to Luzac after signing it. Nicholson is pleased the stock has been delivered but presumes it is all mixed up and will need arranging before further stock comes from Luzac's. He asks for Storey's suggestions on dealing with this. Nicholson had tried to arrange to return to Cambridge but had been unable to engage rooms so will probably stay in Wales for the summer. He also asks Storey's opinion on Arberry becoming a full trustee as others are no longer in this country (See also GMT/1/3/2).
Zonder titelLetter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform him that a representative of the University Press had seen Raynes' assistant and informed him that the stock is estimated at some 20 tons of flat sheets and parcels of folded sheets. Some of the packages are labelled, but others are not. They were received from Dow & Lester without order and many are in need of urgent repackaging. This cannot be provided by the Press. It was estimated that it would take 2 labourers and Storey 2-3 months to classify, re-arrange and pack the whole stock.
