Letter from C.A. Storey to Vladimir Minorsky to inform Minorsky of Professor Nicholson's view of Minorsky's proposal in that he may have 50 offprints to distribute to those who could otherwise not obtain it, but they will not print 100 to 200 copies of the stand-alone translation and commentary.

Letter from C.A. Storey to Luzac & Co. to send them the Presentation List for the new volume of the Gibb Memorial Service. They should not let anyone see it other than the trustees. Letter from C.A. Storey to A.J. Arberry to enclose a copy of Heffer's last letter to Raynes on the subject of binding which explains that the difficulty is due to shortage of binders. He also replies that he is fully aware of the condition of the material as he has spent much time with it since its transfer to Cambridge in 1941 and there is no question of deterioration. He suggests that the British Council would probably not be able to help with the situation of binders. He gives a more detailed explanation of the situation of the stock and suggests, in future, they trustees ensure volumes are immediately folded and stitched after printing as they cannot afford to keep stocks of flat sheets. With this letter are some notes in Storey's hand containing information about stock.

Letter from A.J. Arberry to C.A. Storey to thank for his letter and to express his relief that Luzac's account had been exaggerated. He also asks whether Storey had seen the report in a Persian magazine that A.A. Semonov had discovered a manuscript of the Khamsa of Amīr Khusran Dihlawī dated 756 in the Library of Tashkent. He will lend Storey his copy if he is interested in seeing the article.

Letter from A.J. Arberry to C.A. Storey to state that when he, Gibb and Levy happened to meet the previous week he had reported to them concerning Luzac's complaint at being unable to fulfil orders for Gibb Memorial Volumes worth approximately £1000 and that the lack of binding work could lead to the deterioration of the stock. He asks Storey if he could go to Heffer to see what their condition actually is and whether there is chance of progress. He is also writing to Raynes to ask if he will write to the British Council to expedite the material to Heffer that is necessary.
