              Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to enclose a copy of a letter received from Dow & Lester from which it appears they still have some stock and brasses. With this letter is a copy of the letter from Dow & Lester Ltd. to Messrs Gibb Memorial Trust to state they have still some odd parcels to send but were keeping them in case others were found. They also have a number of blocks but cannot identify which are theirs and which are Luzac's property. They will send [pulls] of the blocks to Luzac for them to identify and will then return those belonging to the Gibb Memorial Trust.

Heffer & Sons Ltd. to W.L. & E.G. Raynes in which they explain what they have been able to complete of the binding which they will send to Luzac & Co. They are still not able to give a considered reply on the question of storage.

              Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform Storey that he has received a letter from Heffer regarding obtaining the sheets of Persian script for "Tadhkirat al-Mulūk". The University Press have expressed that they will be unable to identify the sheets without expert help. Therefore Raynes asks Storey is he would be willing to assist.

              Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to inform Storey that Dr Levy will edit a translation and notes of Ma'ālim al-Qurba fi Akhām al-Hisba by Ibn al-Ikhwa, a manuscript of which is in the Bodleian Library. Mr Levy has asked that the Trust pay the cost for rotographs needed to undertake this work and Raynes asks if Storey agrees to this expenditure. On the reverse of the letter are some mathematical calculations.

With this letter is a copy of the letter from Luzac to W.L. and E.G.               Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to ask him to consider the request of the Chairman that Dr A.J. Arberry be elected as an additional trustee due to the absence of Dr Levy from the Country and following the death of Sir Denison Ross. (See also GMT/3/2/2). He also asks for Storey to agree to the cost of printing and binding of Professor's Minorsky's "Safavid Administration".
