With this letter is one from G.R. Davis, Dow & Lester Ltd., to W.L. & E.G. Raynes to state that the blocks had been returned by Carter Paterson. The blocks are OK and will be despatched to Raynes.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey to enclose a copy of a letter from R.A. Nicholson regarding Heffer undertaking the binding. He also writes that he has written to Heffer to send Storey the Minorsky proofs. With this letter is a copy of one from R.A. Nicholson to W.L. Raynes in which he writes that Cox & Allen, though producing good quality work are too costly for a regular binding contract. He suggests that Heffer be approached and at the same time ask that Minorsky's work be sent to Professor Storey.

Postcard from Vladimir Minorsky to C.A. Storey to inform Storey that Heffer have sent him the first batch of proofs. He asks when he should bring them to Storey and that Minorsky hopes to have a word with him.

Letter from C.A. Storey to W.L. Raynes to express his concern that Heffer will be unable to bind the volumes. He asks Raynes that, when he writes to Luzac, would he inform the company that the volumes Storey has listed will be out of print after those undertaken by Luzac. He also writes of some missing sheets for a volume and wonders whether they could still be with Dow & Lester.

Letter from Vladimir Minorsky to C.A. Storey to state that he has received galleys 40-7. He informs Storey that he will be going to London for a fortnight and provides the address where he would be staying. He enquires regarding about part of a book [phographed] and printed by Fleming.

Letter from W. Heffer & Sons Ltd. to C.A. Storey to send proofs of preliminary pages, Contents, Foreward and Appendices for "Tadhkirat Al-Mulak".

Letter from C.A. Storey to W.L. Raynes to inform Raynes that he has been unable to find some missing sheets required by Cox & Allen and therefore could he request Dow & Lester to send the "few odd parcels" mentioned in their letter (GMT/3/3/18).

Letter from C.A. Storey to W. Heffer & Sons Ltd. to send a draft for the lettering of the spine for the Gibb Memorial Volume "Tadhkirat al-mulūk" by Vladimir Minorsky. He asks whether they would like him to bring them other Memorial Volumes in order for them to match the patterning. A copy of the lettering for the binding is with this letter.
