Letter from University Press, Cambridge, to C.A. Storey to thank for his letter stating their tender for Kitāb al-Tashbīhāt had been accepted. They ask for Storey to inform of the number of proofs required and suggest leaving the question of paper to see if the current controls will be relaxed. On this letter Storey has written a copy of his reply in which he suggests that he will need four to five sets of proofs some of which he will airmail to the editors in India. He thinks they will require only 500-600 copies but will consult with his colleagues to confirm this.

Letter from C.A. Storey to E.G. Raynes in which he writes that he had completed the discharge form and returned it on 12/04/1951. He also writes of his pleasure in presentation copies of Kitāb al-Tashbīhāt being sent out. He will happily be relieved of being a nominee for the investments of the Trust.

Letter from R.A. Nicholson to C.A. Storey to consider the question of reprinting Chahar Magala. As there is still a steady demand, the other trustees think the student edition should be reprinted. He asks if Storey approves of this proposal.

Minutes of "Meeting of the Trustees held at 90, Regent Street Cambridge on Saturday 27th May, 1933". Matters discussed included the finances detailing expenditure on publications and current stock investments; storage and identification of printed stock; possible publication of Nawaqif of Niffari, an index to the Shahnama, the Diwan of Ibn al-Rumi, and Kitah al-Badi of Ibn-al-Mu'tazz; other publications; and payment of the Clerk's salary.

"Minutes of the Annual Meeting of the Trustees held at 90/ 92 Regent Street, Cambridge on Saturday 25th May, 1940." Matters discussed included the absence of Mr. Ellis due to illness; and the finances of the Trust. This document is incomplete, only the first page being present.

The Gibb Memorial Trust was established in 1902 in memory of Elias John Wilkinson Gibb, a largely self-taught Arabic, Persian, and, above all, of Ottoman Turkish, died age 45 in 1901 and his mother established the Trust. These papers mainly cover the period 1927-1951 and consists of governance, finance and publication documents, produced mainly as a result of Charles Ambrose Storey's involvement as a Trustee of the Trust.

"Minutes of Meeting of the Trustees held at 90, Regent Street Cambridge on Saturday 21st May, 1932 at 3 P.M. o'clock" at which Mr Reuben Levy was appointed a trustee, the report on the finances was adopted and reports on works in progress were discussed.

Letter from W.L. Raynes, Clerk to the Trust, to C.A. Storey, India Office Library, to inform of a forthcoming Trustees' Meeting on 1 June 1935. Business includes the finances of the Trust and various publications.

Matters discussed included the finances of the Trust; forthcoming retirement of the Clerk and the recommendation that his son Edward Gervase Raynes be appointed as joint Clerk; the printed stock of publications; publications in progress and possible future publications; the clerk's salary and binding costs.
