Letter from Dr David Richardson to E.A. Blundell, Civil Commissioner in the Tenasserim Provinces, to report his return from the court of Siam and to forward a short abstract of his journey. There follows an account of his journey and of his time at the court of Siam. This seems to be a rough draft with corrections and annotations.

Area: The map shows the status of the roads in Thailand, some roads can be used all the year, some are unavailable in some seasons and some will be built in the future. This map is in poor condition in three pieces.

"Journal of a Mission from the Supreme Government of India to the Court of Siam" covering the dates 18 December 1838 - August 16th 1839. The Journal is incomplete. The journal gives accounts of the journey, the places at which Richardson stopped, and of his time in Bangkok. Not every day is represented in this account, and there are edits and annotations on the journal, possibly in a different hand.

Material from the interaction of the Siam Society and the Royal Asiatic Society. These are:

• Letter from the President, Royal Asiatic Society, to H.H. Prince Dhani Nivat, President, Siam Society, to congratulate the Siam Society on its Jubilee. Typed, dated 18 February 1954.
• "Siam Society - 75 years" - printed pamphlet produced to mark the 75th anniversary of the Siam Society in 1979.
• Letter from D.J. Duncanson, Director, Royal Asiatic Society, to The President, Siam Society, to send the commemorative publication celebrating 150 years of the Royal Asiatic Society. Typed, dated 27 May 1980.

Dr David Richardson undertook a series of missions whilst Assistant Commissioner in the Tenasserim Provinces (including modern-day Thailand and Myanmar). This material includes some of his journal of his mission to Siam, and a report and letters to E.A. Blundell, Commissioner in the Tenasserim Provinces.
