An Exhibition of Asiatic Sculpture, at the Royal Scottish Museum, Edinburgh, was curated in celebration of the Royal Asiatic Society's 150th Anniversary. The material in connection with this exhibition is:

• Letter from Cyril Aldred, Keeper, Royal Scottish Museum, to Professor Charles Beckingham, President, Royal Asiatic Society, to state the Museum would probably be able to arrange an exhibition of oriental art and antiquities in 1973, dated 6 January 1969.
• Letter from Jennifer Scarce, Assistant Keeper, Royal Scottish Museum, to Professor Charles Beckingham, President, Royal Asiatic Society to state that she was in support of an exhibition and to ask for more details, dated 20 March 1969.
