Letter from T D Rogers, Assistant Librarian, Bodleian Library, to Raymond Head to inform him that they cannot find any drawings by Brian Houghton Hodgson in the Department of Western Manuscripts of the Oriental Department of the Bodleian Library.

Letter from the Librarian, Royal Society to Raymond Head to enclose a photocopy of the Sanskrit manuscripts in the India Office Library and to inform him that no manuscripts from William Jones remain at the Royal Society. The photocopy is with the letter.

These Papers were all produced in the compiling of the A Catalogue of the Paintings and Drawings in the Royal Asiatic Society, London. which was published by the Royal Asiatic Society in 1991. The material includes a manuscript proof, correspondence connected to the artworks of the Society, correspondence and lists for compiling the index, and notes and articles which Head collected and collated during his research.
