A list of descriptions of the 'Invocations' groups of sculpture from Kanheri, Ajanta and Aurangabad.

A handwritten draft written by Edward William West for an article published in the Bombay Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society in 1860. Included are also three pages of draft prints of the inscriptions which were included in the publication.

A folder containing six documents Relating to the Jogeshwar Cave in Salsette. These include: No.1: Plan (unfinished), 1854-5 - scale 30 feet to an inch. No.2: A further unfinished Plan, 1854-5, scale 40 feet to an inch. No.3: The beginning of the elevation of the back wall of the verandah. scale 1/120; a tracing of a sketch of a doorkeeper (decayed), 1848. No.4: A sketch of a Pilaster, with female figure under a tree, scale 1/24. No.5: A sketch of one of the doorways (unfinished) with description, 1857, scale 1/48. No.6: A sketch of a column with its dimensions; and a further sketch of the doorway.

Documents from the Bedsa, Shailarwadi, Bâmachandra and Poona Caves.

Documents concerning the Bedsa Caves which are situated about 8 miles southeast of Karla.. These are:

• No.1: A general description of the caves, dated 13 March 1862.
• No.2: A plan of the Caves, scale 15 feet to an inch.
• No.3: Drawings of some of the emblems and paintings in the Chaitya Cave, scale 2 inches to a foot.
• No.4: More drawings of emblems with notes.
• No.5: A drawing of a window and pilasters in Cave No.5, scale 1 inch to a foot.
• No.6: A printed description of The Caves of Bedsa.
• No.7: A draft description of the caves and inscriptions, dated August 1864.
