Correspondence concerning the administration of the Turkish day. These are:

• Letter from Susan Skilliter to Diana Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to give details of the Secretary of the Anglo-Turkish Society, dated 17 May 1972.
• Letter from Susan Skilliter to Diana Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to report on her conversation with the Secretary of the Anglo-Turkish Society, dated 26 October 1972.
• Letter from Susan Skilliter to Diana Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to send details of a prospective member and to ask whether Diana Crawford had been contacted by the Secretary of the Anglo-Turkish Society. She suggests Professor Bernard Lewis as a speaker, dated 5 January 1973.
• Letter from Susan Skilliter to Diana Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to state she is writing to Bernard Lewis concerning speaking on the day, dated 5 January 1973.
• Letter to the Cultural Attaché, The Turkish Embassy, to invite him to the Turkish Day, dated 1 February 1973.
• Letter from P.C. Eliot, Anglo-Turkish Society, to Susan Skilliter asking for copies of the invitation that can be sent out in their next mailing to their members, dated 13 February 1973.
• Letter from Susan Skilliter to Diana Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to state that the Anglo-Turkish Society require 600 copies of the invitation for the Turkish National Day, dated 14 February 1973.
• Letter from Royal Asiatic Society to Susan Skilliter regarding the Society's involvement in the Turkish Day and the obligation of the Anglo-Turkish Society, dated 22 February 1973.
• Letter from Bernard Lewis to Susan Skilliter to report that he will need to cancel giving the lecture for the Turkish Day, dated 5 March 1973.
• Letter from Susan Skilliter to Diana Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to say she will probably be unable to get to the Sesquicentenary Committee meeting and therefore could Diana Crawford report on the Turkish Day plans, dated 6 March 1973.

• Letter to Susan Skilliter to state that her draft had been approved and to query the number of people to attend the Day from the 2 Societies, dated 12 March 1973. Letter from Susan Skilliter to Diana Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to enclose a copy of Barbara Brend's letter, to inform that Bernard Lewis had cancelled and that she has asked Victor Ménage. She was going to Malta, and wondered whether the day should be cancelled, dated 13 March 1973.
• Letter from Bernard Lewis to Diana Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to ask why his name was still appearing on the Turkish Day information, dated 20 March 1973.
