Gilbert Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound (1751-1814), 1st Earl of Minto (Lord Minto) was a British politician and diplomat. He became Lord Minto in 1797, and Governor General of India from 1807 until 1813.

The Kunsthal is an art space in Rotterdam. It opened in 1992. The Kunsthal has no permanent collection, but organises a wide range of temporary exhibitions. The large space available 3,300 m2 allows various exhibitions in parallel. The range of exhibitions presented at the Kunsthal ranges from 20th century masters to current contemporary art movements.

Born in Poland in 1903, Kunst studied at the University of Lwow, in Vienna and in Warsaw. his doctoral thesis was on Sántaraksita's treatise on Indian philosophy. He moved to England before the war and continued in the study and translation of Indian writers on philosophy and logic.
