• Letter from J.R. Bracken, Assistant Secretary, SOAS, to Mrs Davis, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to ask if she could send a cheque to cover the award of the scholarships given under the Forlong Fund. Typed, 1 piece, dated 5 October 1951.

• Letter from J.R. Bracken to Mrs Davis to inform of the Academic Board's decisions regarding the Forlong Fund to award Exhibitions to Mr H. Carr, Mr A. Johns, Mr D.K. Bassett, Mr E. Birnbaum and Mr K.J. Whitbread. The Accounts were also approved. Typed, 1 piece, dated 16 June 1952.

• Letter from J.R. Bracken to Mrs Davis to inform of the decisions of the Academic Board at which Miss Bonner was given an extension of her award, and Mr M.E. Yapp was granted an Exhibition for Indian History, and the Accounts were approved. Typed, 1 piece, dated 9 June 1954.
• Letter from J.R. Bracken to Mrs Davis to thank for the cheque she has sent to pay the award to Miss Bonner. Typed, 1 piece, dated 9 October 1954.

• 'Forlong Fund: Receipts & Payments 1 April 1954 - 31March 1955' - Accounts sheet. Typed, 1 piece, undated.
• Letter from M. [Gabhouse], Organiser of Special Courses,SOAS, to Mrs Davies to ask her to send the money to cover the awards to Mr H.W. Dwan and Miss J.R. Sholl. He also asks if a price for Professor Creswell's book has been suggested by Luzac's. Typed, 1 piece, dated 16 September 1955.
• Letter from M. [Gabhouse] to Mrs Davies to enclose the accounts for the year. He notes that she will send him Mr Reynolds' comments on Professor Creswell's book and he will place Rev. J.C. Pollock's request before the Chairman of the Committee. Typed, 1 piece, dated 20 September 1955.
• Letter from M. [Gabhouse] to Mrs Davies to enclose a letter sent to Rev. Pollock which rejects his request for a grant (The letter is not with this one). He also asks for an increase in the Forlong Fund money sent due to an award made to Mr D.M. Boll. Typed, 1 piece, dated 27 September 1955.
• Letter from M. [Gabhouse] to Mrs Davies to thank for her letters and the cheque she has sent. Typed, 1 piece, dated 18 October 1955.
• Letter from M. [Gabhouse] to Mrs Davies to inform of the Academic Board's resolution to invest £500 of the Forlong Fund and asks for the Society's agreement. Typed, 1 piece, dated 21 November 1955.
• Letter from M. [Gabhouse] to Mrs Davies to confirm what they discussed over the telephone concerning the investment into a temporary savings fund. Typed, 1 piece, dated 28 November 1955.

1956

• Letter from M. [Gabhouse] to Mrs Davies to acknowledge the Society's agreement to investment of the £500 and to ask if Luzac's have provided a publishing price for Professor Creswell's 'Bibliography of Arms and Armour in Islam'. Typed, 1 piece, dated 19 January 1956.
• Letter from M. [Gabhouse] to Mrs Davies to share his concern that a printers' strike has delated Creswell's book. Mr Boll has withdrawn and therefore no longer needs his Forlong Fund award. He therefore returns the cheque. Typed, 1 piece, dated 6 February 1956.
• Letter from M. [Gabhouse] to Mrs Davies to ask for the Forlong Fund accounts and any news of Creswell's book. Typed, 1 piece, dated 27 March 1956.
• Letter from M. [Gabhouse] to Mrs Davies to enclose a copy of a letter from Professor Creswell concerning the delay in his publication. The letter is with this one. Typed, 2 pieces, dated 5 and 12 April 1956.
