• Letter from T.F. Mitchell, Secretary of Association of British Orientalists, to members or prospective members to enclose an account of the nature and aims of the Society and a report from the recent conference, dated 31 October 1962.
• "12th Conference of British Orientalists". Report from the conference held from 3-6 September in Durham. Standing order form for membership fees to be paid on 1st March 1963 and annually thereafter.
