Part of Royal Asiatic Society: Sesquicentenary
Correspondence concerning the possibility of Asia House hosting an exhibition for the Royal Asiatic Society's sesquicentenary. These are:
- Letter from Robert Skelton, Victoria and Albert Museum, to Diana Crawford, Secretary, Royal Asiatic Society, to suggest that Asia House might be willing to put on a display and this could be connected with fundraising, dated 8 November 1971.
- Letter from B.W. Robinson, President, Royal Asiatic Society, to Gordon Washburn, Director, Asia House Gallery, to ask if the gallery would consider putting on a display in conjunction with the Society's sesquicentenary, dated 20 January 1972.
- Letter from Gordon Washburn, Director, Asia House Gallery, to B.W. Robinson, President, Royal Asiatic Society, to inform him that they will be unable to help as the exhibitions in the Gallery are booked through until 1974, dated 15 March 1972.
