Derrett to reply that he has looked at the articles by Burgess in the Journal of Indian Art and Industry but can find no reference to Christian scenes. They do reference the Graeco-Roman style of some of the sculptures. He encloses a photocopy of some of the first article. He replies also that the Society does not have a copy of Ackermann's book on the Narrative stone reliefs in the V&A Museum, London.
