He is also sending articles from the Pali Text Society.

He also thanks for the copy of The Bible and the Buddhists for the collections of the Society.

He writes he is also sending by registered post, Albert Grünwedel's Buddhist Art in India, translated by Agnes C. Gibson.

Derrett to reply that he has looked at the articles by Burgess in the Journal of Indian Art and Industry but can find no reference to Christian scenes. They do reference the Graeco-Roman style of some of the sculptures. He encloses a photocopy of some of the first article. He replies also that the Society does not have a copy of Ackermann's book on the Narrative stone reliefs in the V&A Museum, London.

She also sends a copy of a portrait by the artist, Dora Gordine, believed to be undertaken in the 1940s and asks whether Derrett may be able to help in identification of the sitter.
