He also writes that he cannot identify the man in the portrait which Lazenbatt had sent.

He writes that his 42nd book will be his last but that his fascination with India and primitive Christianity remains.

The letter has been typed on the reverse of the top half of 'Notice to All Fellows: List of Fellows 2001'.

He writes of a different viewpoint regarding the material with which he has settled.
